Have Fun for HOPE

By attending or contributing to any of the below event fundraisers, a portion of your support will go to the Four Diamonds Fund, through The HOPE Express, and will help children with cancer obtain lifesaving treatment, give families financial support, provide a comprehensive medical team and contribute to ground-breaking research.

The Hope Express, created by the Angus Family, has evolved into a year-long effort to raise funds and awareness of the Four Diamonds Fund and childhood cancer with the finale being a 135-mile relay run from the 7th floor of the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA to the THON stage at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA, carrying letters and art from the children at Hershey who were too sick to attend THON.

Nittany Lion Oil Painting Raffle

The winner will be drawn December 23rd, 2014

Runner alumni, Caroline Pember is raffling off her original Nittany Lion Oil Painting and all funds raised will benefit the Hope Express, which helps children affected by pediatric cancer.

The glass represents the fragility of life. The yellow/gold represents Pediatric Cancer awareness, and the little red heart among the sea of gold glitter represents the fact the our hearts beat to eradicate pediatric cancer. Finally, well, glitter is awesome.

Tutus to Fight Pediatric Cancer

Earlier this year Self Magazine mocked Glam Runner founder Monika Davis for running in a tutu. Self later apologized, but not before learning that Monika is a brain cancer survivor (who ran the LA marathon while receiving chemotherapy treatments).

Monika and her friend Tara co-founded Glam Runner, a shop creating awesome running tutus. They donate a portion of their monthly proceeds to Girl on the Run San Diego. Every month. Talk about amazing!

The girls have agreed that if an order of 20+ tutus is placed, $5 per tutu will be donated to Hope Express. That's a nice number that has the potential to add up quickly! Who doesn't love to wear in a tutu?!

Order a tutu for a gift, your next race, to run a leg in the Hope Express or even just to rock during THON weekend. Doing so will help raise money to kick cancer's butt.

Tile Coasters

$10 for a Set of 2 (plus shipping if applicable)

$20 for a set of 4 (plus shipping if applicable)

Each ceramic tile coaster is a 4.25” square. Each slate coaster is a 3.25" square. The graphics are sealed with several layers of decoupage glue and several coats of waterproof acrylic spray finish. The bottom is secured with felt to protect your furniture. These tiles can be used for hot or cold beverages, candles or as general décor. To clean them, gently wipe with a damp cloth. Do not put in dishwasher. Because they are handmade, each tile is different and will have small imperfections, which will not comprise the effectiveness of the tile.
